Lance
No, not Lance Bass, Lance Armstrong. A doper? Looks like it. It's pretty hard to believe he didn't dope if everyone he beat was also doping, but one thing to think about in this whole sad episode is why we were all so inclined to trust him, so inclined to want to believe he was clean. I agree with Mr. Spector. It's getting more and more difficult to believe that Lance didn't dope. However, regardless of what Jeff Novitzky's federal investigation finds, I won't believe Lance doped until Duff McKagan says it's so in one of his espn.com editorials.

ReplyDeleteI think that's a sound epistemic position to hold. It's not "Cogito ergo sum," but rather, "Duff says it's so."
